About PARKET
Parket: Over a Century of Tradition, Passion for Madeira and Innovation
Founded in 1974 by Harry Oliveira, the son of a German carpenter who was a refugee from the war, the company started out in the timber industry and soon made a name for itself as a supplier for major construction projects. A visionary, Harry was one of the first to import ready-made doors, building a solid reputation in the construction sector.
The first official sale took place in 1930, marking the company's definitive vocation for wood, a passion passed down through generations of the Oliveira family. Today, Parket maintains its family essence, uniting tradition and innovation, guided by ethical values, respect for nature, quality and close relationships with customers and partners.
With five decades of history, it has evolved from a small sawmill into a family business with more than 30,000 m² of facilities, its own forests and a complete production chain.
Combining modern technology and specialized machinery with the human touch, they maintain excellence in quality and finish. Passion for wood guides every step, making the most of each log and valuing the detail in each piece produced.
